This component, with a budget of 764 million new ouguiya, aims to improve the situation of drinking water supply in various municipalities and support rainwater drainage infrastructure.
HE the President of the Republic received a presentation on the objectives of this component, the facilities that will be implemented under it, the period of completion, the technical methods followed for the projects of the component according to the specified controls, and the addition it will provide to the water and sanitation system, considering that ensuring the provision of safe drinking water and sanitation services is the basis for achieving a decent life and a healthy environment.

In a speech on the occasion, H.E. Amal Bint Mouloud, Minister of Water and Sanitation, explained that this program reflects the tangible achievements of the sector in accelerating the implementation of existing projects and launching new projects that will benefit citizens across the country.
In the same context, she stressed that the water and sanitation sector occupies a central place in the program of His Excellency the President of the Republic. The Minister concluded that despite the challenges associated with the size of the works for this component, the careful planning by the sector’s services has allowed the completion of designs and studies, the completion of the tendering phase, and even the start of the implementation of some sections, which enhances confidence that this program will achieve the desired objectives within the specified timeframe.
