Minister of Economy and Finance heads to Washington and then to Saudi Arabia

The Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr. Sid’Ahmed Ould Bouh, left Nouakchott last night for the United States of America and then to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he will meet and sign in Washington with the CEO of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) a funding agreement within the framework of the partnership program that Mauritania has concluded with this US agency specialized in supporting and promoting development in developing countries.

After that, the Minister will participate in Medina, Saudi Arabia, in the Islamic Development Bank Group Governors’ Meeting, which will discuss the new strategic plan of the Islamic Bank for 2026-2035 and is expected to endorse the new Development Decade.
