President of Republic Arrives in Selibabi

On 26 November, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, arrived in Selibabi on a working visit to launch development projects commemorating the 64th anniversary of National Independence Day.

The President of the Republic was welcomed at Selibabi airport by Mr. Issa Coulibaly, the President of the Guidimakha region, Colonel Idoumou Ould Oumar, the deputy commander of the fourth military region, the Hakem of Selibabi, the mayor of the municipality; local elected representatives, MPs, and the Wilaya’s military and security authorities.

Upon his arrival, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani greeted the executives, notables, and inhabitants of the town who welcomed him, brandishing enlarged portraits of His Excellency and banners praising the achievements accomplished in the country, in general, and in the Wilaya of Guidimakha, in particular.
