President of Republic Visits Accommodation Center for Flood Victims in Rosso

On 25 November, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, visited an accommodation center for citizens affected by the latest floods at the Kilometer 7 stadium in the town of Rosso. This was part of his visit to Trarza to launch development projects commemorating the 64th anniversary of the national Independence Day.

The President of the Republic, accompanied by the Wali of Trarza, Mr. Mohamed Ould Ahmed Mouloud, was received at the entrance to the center by the President of the Trarza Region, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh, the Hakem of Rosso, Mr. Ahmed Ould Mohamed Abderrahmane Ould Moine, the Mayor of Rosso, Mr. Bembe Ould Dourmane, and the MPs of the Moughataa of Rosso.

During the visit, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani met with representatives of the two accommodation centers: the Kilomètre 7 stadium in Rosso and the El Bezoul center in the Tekane Moughataa.

The families at these accommodation sites warmly welcomed the President of the Republic and the accompanying delegation, brandishing giant photos of His Excellency and welcoming slogans. They also praised the achievements made.
