President of the Republic, President of the African Union returns to Nouakchott from Rio de Janeiro after participating in the G20 Summit

Nouakchott, November 19, 2024, HE President of the Republic and Chairperson of the African Union (AU) Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani returned on Tuesday morning to Nouakchott from Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), after participating in the 19th Summit of the Group of Twenty (G20) organized on November 18 and 19, 2024.
The President of the Republic was received at Nouakchott International Airport by Prime Minister Mokhtar Ould Djay, Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic Moulay Ould Mohamed Laghdhaf, Presidential Advisors Mohamed Ould Abdou Othmane and Aichata Ba Yahia, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, Minister of Defence, the National and Retirees and Martyrs’ Children Affairs, Mr. Hanan Ould Sidi, and His Excellency the Minister of the Interior, Decentralization Promotion and Local Development, Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lamine, the Chief of Special Staff of the President of the Republic, Lieutenant General Isleko Ould Cheikh El Weli, the Assistant Director of the Office of the President of the Republic, Gandega Fatimata, the Governor of Nouakchott West, Mr. Mrabih Rabbou Ould Bounnena
