Food Safety Commissioner Receives WFP Resident Representative

On 7 November, in Nouakchott, Ms. Fatimetou Mint Mahfoudh Ould Khattry, the Commissioner for Food Safety, received Mr. Alioune Dieng, the World Food Program (WFP)  Resident Representative in Mauritania.

The meeting examined the cooperative relations between Mauritania and this UN agency and ways of strengthening and developing them, particularly in food security, support for the resilience of vulnerable groups, and providing food aid and assistance to those in need.
