Secretary-General of the Ministry of Economy launches the Work of the Steering Committee of the Sustainable Development Unit

The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Yacoub Ould Ahmed Aicha, chaired, Wednesday at the ministry’s headquarters, a meeting dedicated to launching the work of the steering committee of the Sustainable Development Unit to discuss the cooperation program between Mauritania and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The meeting, in which UNDP Assistant Resident Representative Josde Avsi Le Gran participated and flanked by her staff, aims to assess last year’s outcome and partnership prospects for 2025.
In his speech on the occasion, the Secretary-General congratulated the Assistant Resident Representative and UNDP staff for their constant readiness to work and at the high level of cooperation and strengthening of partnership.
For her part, the Resident Representative congratulated the staff of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and through them the frameworks of the General Department of Policies and Strategies on the level of commitment and the quality of the work they carry out within the framework of cooperation with the program.
She stressed the readiness of her organization’s teams to strengthen this partnership and do everything necessary to accelerate the implementation of the activities of the sustainable development projects portfolio
