Minister of Culture participates in the African Creativity Week Forum in Algeria

The 2024 African Creative Days, organized by the Algerian Ministry of Culture and Arts and the African Union, kicked off in Algiers today.

The forum aims to promote the economic and social development of the African continent and the development of cultural work that enhances African social cohesion.

The week is also an opportunity to mobilize financial resources in accordance with the African Union’s plan on cultural development and the development of creative industries and innovations with new and more advanced mechanisms.

The African Creative Days 2024 is an opportunity to value Africa’s creative and cultural industries and showcase their diverse talent, as well as develop conversations and provide more opportunities between partners and countries to promote African creative industries.

African Ministers of Culture, African Union Commissioners, the Director General of the African Export-Import Bank, the African Free Trade Secretariat and representatives of African and Caribbean countries will participate in this forum.

In addition to the Minister, the opening of the forum was attended by H.E. the Ambassador of our country to Algeria, Mr. Sid Mohamed Abdallah, and the Director of Cooperation and External Relations at the Ministry of Culture, Mr. Had Maalouf Ould Bab.

The Minister of Culture, Arts, Communication and Relations with Parliament arrived at dawn today in Algeria at the head of an important delegation to participate in the African Creativity Week Forum in Algiers between October 16-19, at the invitation of the Algerian Minister of Culture and Arts, Mrs. Souria Mouloudi, the African Union Commission, and the African Export-Import Bank “Maxim Bank”.
