Minister of Social Action Receives UNICEF Resident Representative
On 26 September, in Nouakchott, Ms. Saviya Mint N’Tahah, the Minister of Social Action, Children, and Family, received Mr. Kebir El Aleoui, the Resident Representative of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Mauritania.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss ways to develop the fruitful partnership between the department and UNICEF in the areas of childhood and social protection, as well as ways to strengthen national capacities in the area of social protection through the strengthening of training mechanisms.
