Government Spokesperson: Mauritania Strongly Condemns the Attacks on the Palestinians

The Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Information and Communication Technologies, the official spokesperson for the government, Mr. Sidi Ould Salem, said that Mauritania strongly condemns the ongoing brutality and attacks against the Palestinian brothers by the Israeli occupation army.

This stance was already expressed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs a few days ago, stressing that Palestinian case is an important issue to Mauritania. And confirming the full support to the people of Palestine throughout the years and days ahead in their fight against Israel occupation will remain.

This is the response to a question addressed to him by the press about our country’s position on what is currently happening in Palestine, during his comments on the results of the cabinet meeting, this evening, Wednesday, in Nouakchott.
