President of Republic, AU Chairperson, Meets With IFC Director General

On 24 September, in New York, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic and Chairperson of the African Union (AU), met with Mokhtar Diop, the Director General of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank Group.

During this meeting, they reviewed the different aspects of cooperation between our country and the IFC, ways to strengthen it in many areas, and the IFC’s role in supporting Mauritania and Africa’s development priorities.
