On 9 September, in Nouakchott, Mr. Sid Ahmed Ould Bouh, the Minister of Economy and Finance, Ms. Houda Babaah, the Minister of Education and Educational Reform, Mr. Mohamed Ould Mohamed Melainine Ould Khaled, the Minister of Energy and Oil, Mr. Momma Beibate, the Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty, Ms. Amal Maouloud, the Minister of Water and Sanitation, and Ms. Messaouda Baham Mohamed Laghdaf, the Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development, held a working session with the joint mission of the World Bank, led by Mr. Ousmane Diagana, and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), led by Mr. Sergio Pimenta.
During the working session, the two parties discussed the various cooperation files between our country and these international financial institutions and the strategic framework of the partnership for the next five years.
The two parties expressed their satisfaction and the need to strengthen the partnership and cooperation, given that the partnership has resulted in a portfolio of important and diversified projects and generous financial and technical support that has contributed to promoting the economic and social development of Mauritania.
