President of Republic Congratulates Algerian Counterpart on Reelection for New Term

On 9 September, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, had a telephone conversation with HE Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.

During this conversation, the President of the Republic congratulated HE President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on his brilliant reelection as head of the Algerian State, stressing that this victory reflects the great confidence of the Algerian people in his wisdom and leadership qualities. At the same time, he wished him every success and the Algerian people more progress and prosperity.

For his part, the Algerian President thanked His Excellency the President of the Republic for his kind regards, praising the excellent relations between the two brotherly countries.

Finally, the two Presidents reiterated their willingness to work together to diversify and deepen cooperation relations between their two countries and strengthen the strong bonds of fraternity and friendship between the Mauritanian and Algerian people.
