Minister of Culture receives Indian Ambassador

The Minister of Culture, Arts, Communication and Relations with Parliament, Mr.Houssein Ould Medou, received, on Tuesday at his office in Nouakchott, the Indian Ambassador to Mauritania, HE Naresh Kumar.
The meeting touched on aspects of bilateral cooperation, especially in the fields of intervention of the sector, in addition to discussing the contents of the draft agreement on cooperation in the cultural field between the two countries, and mechanisms to benefit from the Indian experience in the field of cinema and other arts.
During the meeting, the Minister pointed out the need for the friendly Republic of India to participate in the International Film Festival, which will kick off in Nouakchott on October 22nd, and in the Madain Heritage Festival, which will be organized this year in Chinguetti.
