Prime Minister chairs Meeting of Ministerial Committee to prepare for School and University Entrance

As part of the preparations for the 2024-2025 school and university opening, Prime Minister Mokhtar Ould Diay chaired on Thursday at the First Ministry a meeting of a ministerial committee to prepare for the upcoming school and university opening.
The meeting discussed a presentation by the Education Sector on the preparatory measures it has taken for this purpose.
The committee identified all the measures that will be implemented to support the reforms aimed at establishing the republican school, which is intended to ensure homogeneity and harmony among the components of our society and consolidate the foundations of national unity, in implementation of the directives of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani.
In conclusion, the Prime Minister instructed the sector to prepare a comprehensive inventory of the reality of our educational institutions after this year’s rainy season, and to prepare our school map and submit it to the ministerial committee at its next meeting, with a proposal for intervention to improve the framework in which the educational process takes place, redouble efforts to raise the performance of our educational system and further coordination with regional and municipal councils to enhance the decentralization of the management of our educational facilities.
