Angolan Vice President Leaves Nouakchott

On 1 August, Angolan Vice President Esperança da Costa left Nouakchott after representing His Excellency Joao Lourenço at the swearing-in ceremony of His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, held today at the El Mourabitoune Conference Center.

The Angolan Vice President was greeted upon her departure from Nouakchott International Airport by Prime Minister Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Messaoud, surrounded by several members of the government, his director of cabinet, the Wali of Nouakchott West, the President of the Nouakchott region, and the Angolan ambassador to Mauritania, residing in Dakar.
