President-elect receives congratulations from Ukrainian president

HE President of the Republic, President-elect Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, received a message of congratulations from HE President of the Republic of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, on the occasion of his election as President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania for a new term.
This is the text of the message:
“Mr. President.
Please accept my sincere congratulations on your re-election as President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, and I wish you every success in your new term.
Ukraine is determined to strengthen cooperation between our two countries at the bilateral and multilateral levels, taking into account your important presidency of the African Union, and the opening of the Embassy of Ukraine in Nouakchott in May this year will undoubtedly contribute to the realization of this goal.
I invite you, Mr. President, to visit Ukraine and wish you continued health and success in your duties, and the Mauritanian people further peace and prosperity.
