A mission from the National Rural Development Company (Sonader), headed by its Director General, Mr. Hamada Ould Didi, is currently visiting France to explore prospects for partnership with key French and European actors in the fields of refrigeration, processing, preservation and storage in order to improve the structuring of value chains and strengthen national capacities in this area.
This visit falls within the framework of the new tasks assigned to Sonader Company aimed at promoting agricultural investment and developing national production
During its stay in Paris, the mission will hold meetings with a number of French institutions and specialized associations, such as the “Alpha” Association for Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries in Africa, which includes 40 companies active in the sector.
It will also meet with a number of representatives of the “Rungis” market to learn about the needs of the European and French markets in particular for Mauritanian agricultural products, and to learn about the size and classification of demand, as well as the administrative procedures to be followed to facilitate the establishment of some partnerships in this field.
