2024 Presidential Elections: Candidate Biram Dah Abeid Chairs Two Electoral Meetings in Arafat, Riyadh
Mr. Biram Dah Abeid, the candidate for the 2024 presidential elections, chaired two electoral evenings in Arafat and Riyadh (Southern Nouakchott) on Tuesday evening.
The candidate greeted his supporters before reviewing the content of his electoral program, believing that this presence carries a message to the regime in place, he said. The recent events in Nouadhibou were ‘a reaction to rising prices, lack of education and job opportunities, and the elimination of youth hope’, as he put it.
He denied that the IRA movement was responsible for those events, as did the Movement’s representative in Nouadhibou, Mr. Lemrabet Ould Mahmoud.
Candidate Biram Dah Abeid arrived in Nouakchott this afternoon, where he led a march in the El Tarhil, Nouvelle Vie ((New Life), and El Waqfa neighborhoods in Toujounine.
Yesterday evening, candidate Biram Dah Abeid chaired an electoral evening organized by the campaign office in the Riyadh district, which included various artistic activities, during which the candidate emphasized the importance of change and the democratic and social alternation of power in societies and countries.
