2024 Presidential Elections: Candidate Mamadou Bocar Ba Animates Election Evening in Kaedi

On 20 June, in  Kaedi, Mr. Mamadou Bocar Ba, the candidate for the 29 June presidential elections, chaired an electoral evening organized by the regional coordination of the coalition, “Mamadou Bocar Ba President 2024” in the Wilaya of Gorgol.

During this event, which brought together his supporters in the town of Kaedi, the candidate declared that his candidacy is aimed at building a state of justice and law where all Mauritanians, despite their belonging, will be treated equally. He renewed his firm desire to fight against corruption, mismanagement, and marginalization, which are at the origin of all the evils to which Mauritania is exposed.

Mr. Mamadou Bocar pledged that he would work, if elected, for fairness in the settlement of humanitarian issue, which is essential to guarantee lasting peace and cohesion, establish a true republican school reflecting the reality of all Mauritanians, and share the diverse wealth available to Mauritania.

He finally called on his supporters to be vigilant against all forms of manipulation of their votes and participate massively in the systematic change that he intends to implement.

For his part, the regional coordinator of the campaign in Gorgol declared that the town of Kaedi must constitute the vanguard of the change to which Mauritanians aspire before reviewing the virtues and merits of the candidate, stressing that he distinguished by the fact “that he has clean hands”. Previously, residents of the town of Kaedi organized a warm popular welcome for the candidate at the entrance to the town, where they brandished slogans and photos of the candidate.
