Delegation from Mauritania participates in the Work of the International Labour Conference in Geneva

The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Public Service and Labour, Mr. Moulay Brahim Moulay Idriss, headed a delegation from his sector comprising the three production parties, participated in the opening of the 112th session of the International Labour Conference, held in Geneva from 3 – 14 June, 2024.
On the sidelines of the conference, the Mauritanian delegation held a series of meetings and consultations with the heads and representatives of the participating delegations, which led to the removal of Mauritania from the list of countries to be held accountable by the Committee on the Application of Labour Standards on Convention No. 111 on Discrimination in Employment and Employment.
