President of Republic Leaves for Brazzaville

The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, left Nouakchott today for Brazzaville, Capital of Congo, to attend the inauguration ceremony of His Excellency Mr. Denis SASSOU-N’GUESSO, president of Congo.

The President of the Republic was greeted at his departure from Nouakchott International Airport Oumtounsy by the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal, government members, Chief of staff of the president of the republic, the assistant director of president of republic’s cabinet, the governor of western Nouakchott, and head of Nouakchott’s region.

During this trip, the president of the republic is accompanied by an important delegation comprising:

– Mme Coumba Ba, Minister, adviser at the presidency of the republic.
-Mr.Ismael Ould Cheikh Ahmed, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad.
– Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lemine, Director of president of the republic’s cabinet
– Sidi Ould El Ghadi, our ambassador to Congo.
– Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Lematt, officer in charge of special duties at the presidency of the republic.
– Ahmed Salem Mohamed Salem Abdi, officer in charge of special duties at the presidency of the republic.
– Mr. El Hacen Ould Ahmed, Director General of State Protocol.
