Minister of Petroleum Participates in the World Economic Forum in Riyadh

The Minister of Petroleum, Mines and Energy, Government Spokesman, Mr. Nani Ould Chrougha, participated on Sunday evening in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, in the work of the World Economic Forum Davos, under the slogan “International Cooperation, Growth and Energy for Development”.
The two-day forum will continue with the participation of more than a thousand heads of state, senior officials, international experts, and various participants from the government and private sectors, to discuss various global economic issues and developments.
The main themes of the meeting will focus on international cooperation, growth and energy, including ensuring safe energy sources within the path of energy transition, sustainable development and green economy.
Today, Monday, the Minister is scheduled to meet with the Saudi Minister of Energy, His Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in a special meeting during which a memorandum of understanding will be signed on cooperation between the two countries in the field of energy.
The minister and the accompanying mission will also hold meetings with several energy ministers and representatives of some energy companies to discuss ways to develop cooperation in relevant fields.
