President of Republic Receives First Dose of COVID-19 Vaccine

The president of the republic His Excellency, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, received, Friday, at the presidential palace in Nouakchott, the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine , as part of the second phase of the vaccination campaign.

During the first phase of vaccination, the medical staff were prioritized, due to the risks they face.

It should be noted that the COVID-19 vaccine is delivered in two shots, separated by two weeks.
