President of Republic Inaugurates the Road Linking El-Nabaghiya and El-Amal Road

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Sheikh El-Ghazouani, supervised today, Thursday, in the village of Nabaghia, in the district of Boutalmit, the inauguration of the road linking this village to the Road of Hope, which will enable the end of the isolation of more than 37 villages in this region.

After unveiling the plaque commemorating this project and cutting the symbolic ribbon marking its inauguration, His Excellency the President of the Republic received explanations about the technical specifications of this road, the procedures that were followed in order for it to be implemented in accordance with the controls specified in the book of commitments, and the benefits it will provide to the residents of this region.

The financial cost of this project, which was implemented in two phases, Al-Amal Road – Al-Nabaghiyah and Al-Nabaghiyah – Bir Al-Baraka, amounted to approximately 413 million new ouguiya.

This road is considered the most important achievement that was a dream of the residents of this region, due to the opportunities it provides to change their reality for the better by opening more horizons that enable the creation of job opportunities and enhance local development.

This road will break the isolation of approximately 30,000 people, residents of Al-Nabaghiya and its neighboring villages, by connecting them to the national road network, which will enhance commercial exchanges and open more opportunities to improve the performance of the agricultural and pastoral sectors, which are the main sources of income for most of the population of these villages.
