Minister of Economic Affairs Holds Meeting with World Bank’s Regional Vice President for Western and Central Africa

The Minister of Economic Affairs and Promotion of Productive Sectors, Mr. Ousmane Mamoudou Kane, held a meeting, via videoconference, with Mr. Ousmane Diagana, Regional Vice President for Western and Central Africa at the World Bank group.

During the meeting, both parties discussed World Bank’s project portfolio in Mauritania, the problem of indebtedness, agriculture, and COVID-19 vaccines.

During the meeting, The Minister gave a presentation on Mauritania’s economic situation and the effects of the pandemic on it.

The Minister said that Mauritania introduced an approach, which aims to accelerate the pace of the work of the World Bank project portfolio in Mauritania.
