Mauritania Participates in UNEA-6

The Minister of Environment, Ms. Lalya Aly Kamara, participated from 29 February to 1 March 2024 in Nairobi, Kenya, in the High-Level Segment of the sixth session of the UN Environment Assembly (UNEA-6), chaired by Mr. Dennis Francis, the President of the UN General Assembly.

The event, held under the auspices of the UN Environment Program (UNEP), was themed ‘Effective, inclusive, and sustainable multilateral actions to combat climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution’.
