President of Republic Receives Bangladeshi Ambassador’s Credentials

On 27 February, in Nouakchott, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, received the credentials of HE Mr. Muhammad Zulqar Nain, in his capacity as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

At the end of the credentials’ presentation, the President of the Republic granted the Ambassador of the Republic of Bangladesh an audience in the presence of Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and

Mauritanians Abroad. In a statement to the Mauritanian news agency following the meeting, the Bangladeshi ambassador said he was honored to present his credentials to the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, adding that the meeting was an opportunity to meet with His Excellency and discuss ways to strengthen cooperative relations between Mauritania and Bangladesh.
