The Director-General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development, Ibrahim Adam Ahmed Al-Dikhiri, stressed that Mauritania has great capabilities and promising experiences in the field of agriculture that will enable it to bring about a radical change in the food security system, not only at the local level, but also at the level of neighboring countries.

He said in a statement to the Mauritanian News Agency, after receiving him by Prime Minister Mohamed Ould Bilal Messoud, on Thursday morning, that he reviewed during the meeting the cooperation efforts between the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development and the relevant ministries of the economic sector (agriculture, animal development, fishing and marine economy).

He expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Minister of Agriculture for his important efforts and continuous communication with the Organization and his guidance and guidance on how to achieve the overall objectives of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development regarding the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

The Director-General of the Organization affirmed his readiness with his team to provide the required support to achieve Mauritania’s aspirations in the field of self-sufficiency in the field of food security.
