Minister of Foreign Affairs Offers President of Republic’s condolences to Egyptian Counterpart

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, held a phone call on Sunday with his Egyptian counterpart, Mr. Sameh Choukri.
During the call, Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed offered the condolences of the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, on his own behalf and on behalf of the Mauritanian government and people to His Excellency President Abdel Fatah Sissi and through him to the Egyptian government and people, following the painful accident in the Souhaj region.

On behalf of the president of the republic, the minister expressed his sincere compassion and solidarity with the brotherly state of Egypt, imploring Allah, the Almighty, to welcome the victims of Sohag to his Holy Paradise and wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
