Minister of Finance Receives a Delegation from the International Monetary Fund

The Minister of Finance, Mr. Isselmou Ould Mohamed M’badi, received on Thursday morning at his office in Nouakchott, a delegation from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), currently visiting our country, headed by Dr. Jihad Azour, Director of the Middle East and Central Asia Sector at the Fund.
The meeting touched on areas of cooperation between Mauritania and this international financial body, and ways to enhance it in the service of economic development in our country.
The meeting took place in the presence of the Director General of the Budget, Mr. Fal Khayar and the Chief of Mission of the International Monetary Fund to Mauritania, Mr. Felix Fischer, and the Resident Representative of the Fund in Mauritania, Ms. Anta Ndoye.
