President of the Republic Heads to UAE

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr.  Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, left Nouakchott on Wednesday evening for Dubai (United Arab Emirates), to participate in the summit of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28).

Upon his departure from Nouakchott International Airport, HE the President of the Republic was bid farewell to Oum Tounsy by Prime Minister Mohamed Bilal Messoud, Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, Minister Counsellor of the Presidency of the Republic, a number of members of the Government, the Assistant Director of the Office of the President of the Republic, the Wali of Nouakchott West and the Vice-President of the Nouakchott Region.

His Excellency the President of the Republic is accompanied by an important delegation.
