President of Republic Returns to Nouakchott From Cairo

On 21 October, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, returned to Nouakchott from the Arab Republic of Egypt after participating in the Cairo Peace Summit, dedicated to the discussion of the developments and future of the Palestinian issue and the peace process.

The President of the Republic was welcomed at the Nouakchott – Oumtounsy International Airport by the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Messaoud, the Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, the two Minister Counselors at the Presidency of the Republic, members of the government, the Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic, the Deputy Director of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic, the Wali of Nouakchott-West, and the President of the Nouakchott region.

During this trip, the President of the Republic was accompanied by a large delegation including Messrs.:

– Moctar Ould Diay, the Minister in charge of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic;

– El Hussein Ould Deih, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania in Cairo;

– Ahmed Ould Bahini, an officer in charge of special duties at the Presidency of the Republic;

– Saleh Ould Dehmache, an officer in charge of special duties at the Presidency of the Republic;

– El Hacen Ould Ahmed, the Director General of State Protocol.
