Minister of Economy Receives IFAD Regional Director

On 12 September, in Nouakchott, Mr. Abdessalam Ould Mohamed Saleh, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, received Mr. Bernard Hien, the Regional Director of the West and Central Africa Division of the International Fund for Agricultural Development ((IFAD), accompanied by Mr. Marcelin Norvilus, the director in charge of Mauritania.

The talks focused on the different aspects of cooperation between our country and IFAD, particularly the acceleration of the implementation of projects financed by the Fund in Mauritania.

The meeting also made it possible to examine ways of improving the environmental and economic sustainability of the agricultural sector.
