Minister of Justice Receives Head of UNODC Office

On 24 August, in Nouakchott, the Minister of Justice, Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Sheikh Abdullah bin Boya, received Ms. Helen Van, the Head of Office of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Mauritania.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss various aspects of cooperation between the justice sector and the UNODC and the progress in implementing joint projects.

The UN official thanked the Minister and expressed her satisfaction with the progress of the joint projects between the Department and the UNODC office.
