President of Republic Welcomes Arab Peers to Nouakchott Development Summit

On 19 May, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, affirmed that joint Arab action is only strengthened by enhancing the economic partnerships forged between the Arab countries through the promotion of intra-arab economic exchanges to establish a common Arab market which lays the foundations for sustainable and global development in the shared space.

In a speech he delivered at the opening session of the 32nd ordinary session of the Council of the League of Arab States Summit, held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, he added that Mauritania formulates the hope that the fifth session of the Arab Development Summit, which Nouakchott is to host at the beginning of November, will become an economic and social session par excellence and a privileged stage for joint Arab action.

He expressed his joy at welcoming the Arab leaders to Nouakchott to participate in the work of this summit.
