President of Republic Returns to Nouakchott

On 9 May, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, arrived in Nouakchott from London, United Kingdom, after participating in the coronation ceremony of King Charles III of Great Britain.

His Excellency the President of the Republic was welcomed at Nouakchott Oumtounsy International Airport by the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Messoud, the Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, the Minister Counselor at the Presidency of the Republic, several members of the government, the Chief of Special Staff of the President of the Republic, the Wali of Western Nouakchott, and the President of the Region of Nouakchott.

The President of the Republic was accompanied by a large delegation including Messrs.:

– Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, the Director of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic;

– Sidiya El Hajj, the Ambassador of Mauritania in London, and

– El Hassan Ould Ahmed, the Director General of State Protocol.
