He graduated as an engineer from the National Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics in Morocco in 1997.
Remotely pursued Master 2 in Statistics and Econometrics from the University of Toulouse 2006-2008.
He followed many trainings, especially in the fields of statistical and economic studies and the preparation and management of monitoring and evaluation systems.
Career:
1998 – 2003: Employment Market Information System Officer in the UNDP-funded National Employment Policy Project.
2003 – 2008: Monitoring and evaluation officer in the Education and Training Project and Director of the Office of Specialized Studies in the field of statistical and economic studies.
2008 – 2010: Advisor to the Minister of Education in charge of strategies, follow-up and evaluation.
-2010 to 16 January 2015: Director General of Taxation.
Appointed Minister of Finance on 16/01/2015
He was appointed Minister of Economy and Finance from 09 February 2016 until August 2019.
From September 2019 to March 2021, he held the position of Director General of the National Company for Industry and Mines “Asneem”.
4 July 2023 He was appointed Minister in charge of the Office of the President of the Republic until 02 August 2024.
02 August 2024 Appointed Prime Minister.
