On 21 February, in Nouakchott, Mauritania and Shell International Ltd. Signed an exploration and production sharing agreement at the level of section C2 of the coastal basin in Mauritanian territorial waters.
The agreement, which confirms the ability of our country to attract significant foreign investment, aims to expand the space for 3D seismic surveys in specific locations believed to contain hydrocarbons.
The agreement was signed, on the Mauritanian side by Mr. Abdesselam Mohamed Saleh, the Minister of Oil, Mines, and Energy, and by Mr. William Langin, the Senior Vice President – West / Deepwater Exploration at Shell.
