Economic Affairs Minister Leaves for Rome

On 6 February, Mr. Ousmane Mamoudou Kane, the Minister of Economic Affairs and Promotion of the Productive Sectors, left Nouakchott for Rome (Italy) where he is due to take part in the 46th session of the Board of Governors of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) held in the Italian capital from 10 to 15 February.

Mr. Kane will then travel to Berlin to meet with senior officials from the German Cooperation Ministry and financing institutions to encourage them to increase investment in our country in favor of the significant improvement in the debt situation confirmed by the latest IMF report.
