President of Republic Returns to Nouakchott

On 23 December, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, returned to Nouakchott from the wilaya of Dakhlet-Nouadhibou after paying a working visit during which he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for major development projects.
The President of the Republic was welcomed at Nouakchott Oumtounsy international airport by the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Messaoud, members of the government, the President of the Republic’s Chief of Staff, the Deputy Director of Cabinet of the President of the Republic, the Wali of Western Nouakchott, and the President of the Region of Nouakchott.
During this trip, the President of the Republic was accompanied by a large delegation including:
– Mr. Moulay Ould Mohamed Laghdef, the Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic;
– Mr. Abdessalam Ould Mohamed Saleh, the Minister of Oil, Energy, and Mines;
– Mr. Mohamed Ould Abidine Ould Maayif, the Minister of Fisheries and Maritime Economy;
– Mr. Sidi Mohamed Ould Taleb Amar, the Minister of Water and Sanitation;
– Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, the Director of Cabinet of the President of the Republic;
– Mr. Ahmed Salem Ould Mohamed Vadel, an Officer in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic;
– Mr. Saleh Ould Dehmach, an Officer in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic;
– Mr. El Hacen Ould Ahmed, the Director General of State Protocol;
– A delegation of businessman led by Mr. Mohamed Zein El Abidine Ould Cheikh Ahmed, the President of the National Union of Mauritanian Employers (UNPM).
