President of Republic Holds Telephone Talks With Emirati Counterpart

On 3 December, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, held telephone talks with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the State of the United Arab Emirates. During the telephone conversation, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani congratulated his Emirati counterpart on the 51st anniversary of the independence of the Union.
During this telephone call, the President of the Republic expressed to His Highness the feelings of consideration and friendship of the Mauritanian people toward the brotherly State of the United Arab Emirates.
The telephone call was also an opportunity for the exchange of views on the means likely to strengthen and develop the relations of brotherhood and friendship between the two brotherly people and deepen the strategic partnership that exists between them.
The two leaders expressed great satisfaction with the excellent level of bilateral relations. They further welcomed the identity of their views on regional and international issues of common concern.
