On the sidelines of his participation in the African Development Forum, held in the Ivorian capital, Abidjan, Mr. Ba Mamadou Abdoulaye, the President of the Authority of the Nouadhibou Free Zone (ZFN), met with Mr. Akinwumi Adesina, the President of the African Development Bank (AfDB).
The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the prospects for bilateral cooperation and the investment opportunities that the ZFN offers.
The ZFN delegation participating in this forum, organized under the theme “Sustainable Investment To Strengthen Economic Resilience”, presented the many investment opportunities the Free Zone offers and the incentives and strategic plans it has developed to attract investors.
The presentation also touched on the ZFN’s role in stimulating Mauritania’s local development and improving its place in the economic and development fields.
It is noteworthy that this forum, in which more than 25 countries participated, held by the African Development Bank from 2 to 4 November, aims to raise awareness of investment opportunities and encourage public-private partnerships within participating countries.
