President of Republic Returns From Algiers

On 2 November, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, returned to Nouakchott from Algiers after taking part in the 31st ordinary session of the Arab League summit.
At the Nouakchott International Airport-Oumtounsy, the President of the Republic was welcomed by the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Messaoud, the Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, the Minister Counselor at the Presidency of the Republic, Ministers of Justice and National Defense, the President of the Republic’s Chief of Staff, the Wali of Western Nouakchott, and the Vice-President of the Nouakchott Region.
The President of the Republic was accompanied by a large delegation comprising Messrs.:
– Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad;
– Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, the Director of Cabinet to the President of the Republic,
– Weddady Ould Sidi Haïba, the Ambassador of Mauritania to Algeria,
– Sidi Mohamed Ould Mohamed Abdallahi, the Permanent Representative of Mauritania to the League of Arab States,
– Ahmed Salem Ould Mohamed Vadhel, an Officer in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic,
– Sidi Mohamed Ould Ghaber, an Officer in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic,
– Hacen Ould Ahmed, the Director General of State Protocol.
