Health Minister Receives Delegation of Malta Knights’ Order

On 20 September, in Nouakchott, the Minister of Health, Mr. Moktar Ould Dahi, received a delegation of the Order of the Knights of Malta, currently in our country, within the framework of periodic visits to train trainers on methods of medical aid and to carry out surgical interventions on patients who are victims of sequelae and complications of leprosy and serious wounds at the National Center for Orthopedic Surgery.
The meeting focused on the areas of cooperation in terms of urgent medical assistance and surgical treatment of the sequelae of burns, but also on raising awareness about the causes of serious burns, logistical support in the field of training, and the signature of cooperation agreements for the promotion of methods and means of first aid and emergency medicine.
