Foreign Minister Receives NATO Assistant Secretary General for Operations

On the sidelines of the ministerial meeting of the global coalition to defeat ISIS held in Marrakech, Morocco, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, received Wednesday NATO Assistant Secretary General for Operations, Mr. Tom Goffus.

During the meeting, both parties reviewed Mauritania’s multidimensional approach in the fight against terrorism and its vital role in the Sahel Region.
