Prime Minister Chairs Meeting of Ministerial Committee

On 31 December, the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Massaoud, chaired in Nouakchott, the regular meeting of the Ministerial Committee in charge of monitoring the implementation of the expanded program of the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani.

The objective of this meeting was to assess the overall progress in the implementation of this program.

The meeting noted with satisfaction, for the third time in a row, the noticeable improvement in the rate of implementation of this program.

This is despite some obstacles that still exist at the level of some departments, which prevent the achievement of the set goals.

For this reason, the Prime Minister instructed the ministers, to mobilize their teams and strengthen coordination processes between them, so that they can remove the remaining obstacles that represent an obstacle to achieving the optimum pace of implementation.

He also renewed to them his instructions urging giving priority to the national private sector in implementing the program, in a way that encourages the creation of local job opportunities and the revival of our economy, in accordance with the directives of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani.
