Interior Minister Co-Chairs with Algerian Counterpart First Mauritania-Algeria Bilateral Border Committee Meeting

On Monday morning in the Algerian capital, Algiers, The Minister of the Interior and Decentralization, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, co-chaired with the Algerian Minister of the Interior, Local Authorities, and National Planning, Mr. Kamal Beldjoud, the first meeting of the Mauritania-Algeria bilateral border committee.

In addition to pushing cooperation relations in various fields, this meeting aims to set goals directed at boosting development in the border areas through plans that enable the residents of these areas to integrate under a comprehensive development vision that serves security and stability and enhances good neighborliness.
