Foreign Minister Receives Italian Ambassador

His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, received today, Thursday, in Nouakchott, the Ambassador of the Italian Republic accredited to Mauritania, Mrs. Paola Maria Cristina Russo.

The discussions focused on bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, as well as ways to strengthen and develop them for mutual benefit. Both parties also exchanged views on issues of common interest.
