Prime Minister Chairs Ministerial Committee Meeting on 2026–2027 School Year Preparations

His Excellency Prime Minister Mr. El Moctar Ould Djay chaired today, Wednesday, at the Prime Ministry, a meeting of the ministerial committee tasked with monitoring preparations for the 2026–2027 school year.

During the meeting, an update was provided on the implementation of the decisions and directives issued during the committee’s previous session. The meeting also provided an opportunity to assess progress in various areas, particularly the availability of infrastructure, equipment, and educational staff.

The meeting falls within the framework of the priorities of His Excellency President of the Republic Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, who considers education one of the cornerstones of his “My Ambition for the Homeland” program, as well as his commitment to providing appropriate conditions to ensure the quality of education and improve learning conditions.
